Ticket prices are $30 for prime seating, $25 for choice seating and $20 for seats in the 2nd balcony. Cape Fear Jazz Society members and groups of 10 or more get a $3 discount on seats in the prime and choice seating sections. UNCW students may attend free with a voucher which may be obtained at the Upperman Center.
On Saturday, March 10, 2012, the Cape Fear Jazz Society in alliance with the UNCW Upperman African American Cultural Center will present a special night of jazz and homecoming celebration. The Heath Brothers, Jimmy and Albert “Tootie” who have strong ties to Wilmington, will perform in concert at Thalian Hall. Opening for the Heath Brothers will be UNCW Distinguished Professor of Jazz and master percussionist, Joe Chambers and his All Stars, featuring local artists Benny Hill, Doug Irving and Brad Merritt. The concert will be held from 7:30 – 11:00 pm.
