Smooth Jazz anyone? How about a little R&B, Blues, Funk, or Reggae? Like beach music or old school swing? Well just ask El Jaye and he will be sure to find you just the flavor you need. Leonard “El Jaye” Johnson is an extraordinary talent and has earned the title of “One-Man-Band”. El Jaye has been seriously involved with music since age ten and has developed a deep passion for music and the desire to help others to appreciate music’s many benefits.
On stage you will see him energetically bounce around from guitar, to keyboard, to trumpet to singing and dancing. And although he is an accomplished musician in his own right, he likes to be considered an entertainer, rather than just a musician.

JAZZ at The Bellamy Mansion
The outdoor summer jazz series is back at the Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC ! Jazz concerts are held on the second Wednesday evening of the month starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets only available at the door are $25, $20 for members of the CFJS or the Bellamy, $15 for students and active military with IDs.
Shows are outdoors on the Bellamy lawn weather permitting. In case of inclement weather the show will be cancelled, so check our website. No presales, tickets are available at the gate on the day-of beginning at 5:30 PM. Bring your lawn chairs, snacks and dinner, and relax on a summer evening!
