Sean Meade Quartet

Sean Meade is a saxophonist that is able to seamlessly find his way into a multitude of genres. Since beginning his journey on saxophone in 2004, Sean has played in symphonic bands, hip-hop bands (including Wilmington’s the Coastal Collective), jazz big band and combos, RnB bands, theater ensembles, and recently his own Jazz project, Echromatics.
Sean began his professional music career graduating from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington in 2015, under the instruction of Dr. Frank Bongiorno. After establishing a vast and diverse performance background over the next two years, Sean received his Masters degree in 2018 from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia Spain, in Contemporary Performance under the study of saxophonist Perico Sambeat.
His primary project is under the Echromatics, which offers a unique, modern blend that nods to elements of hip-hop, RnB, and funk, while still acknowledging the deep history of jazz.

JAZZ at The Bellamy Mansion
The outdoor summer jazz series is back at the Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC ! Jazz concerts are held on the second Thursday evening of the month starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets only available at the door are $25, $20 for members of the CFJS or the Bellamy, $15 for students and active military with IDs.
Shows are outdoors on the Bellamy lawn weather permitting. In case of inclement weather the show will be cancelled, so check our website. No presales, tickets are available at the gate on the day-of beginning at 6:00 PM. Bring your lawn chairs, snacks and dinner, and relax on a summer evening!
