Dillon Goodson Quartet

Dillon Goodson has become one of the most-requested session bassists in the Cape Fear region in recent months. Having only just entered the local jazz scene in June of 2023, he has brought fresh perspective to the community and a jubilant energy in his performances.
He received his formal training in the studio of David Ruffels at WCSU School of Visual & Performing Arts where he began playing the double (upright) bass. During his baccalaureate studies Dillon worked as a session bassist primarily around his home state of CT and eventually in NY. He had the pleasure of sharing the stage with countless musicians as both a student and professional, most notably with Darren Litzie, Tim Walsh, Nick Biello, Nicole Zuraitis, and Paquito D’Rivera.
As he approaches a full year on the Wilmington scene Dillon shares some of his favorite jazz themes and arrangements with the introduction of his inaugural quartet.

JAZZ at The Bellamy Mansion
The outdoor summer jazz series is back at the Bellamy Mansion in Wilmington, NC ! Jazz concerts are held on the second Thursday evening of the month starting on April 9th 2024, 6:30 PM. Tickets only available at the door are $25, $20 for members of the CFJS or the Bellamy, $15 for students and active military with IDs.
